Kalanoro: a cultural and creative odyssey invites the public to discover the adventure of an emerging studio through its first video game project, Kalanoro. From the presentation of its identity and the genesis of the game, inspired by deep cultural roots, to the decisive support of the ONY incubator and the collaboration with New Tales, the panel explores the dynamics that enable a young studio to structure itself without compromising its artistic vision. The discussion highlights the importance of creativity, an essential driver of player expectations, while emphasising the role of video games as a vehicle for cultural richness and identity expression. Kalanoro also offers a glimpse of Africa as a future major player in the global video game industry, where innovation and deeply rooted narratives are opening up new perspectives.
